RTA e-Safety Checks
Roads and Maritime (RTA) requires safety checks and inspections to be made by authorised vehicle inspectors to renew vehicle registrations. Previously known as pink slips, light vehicles require safety checks for registration renewal for vehicles more than five years old. Safety checks are valid for six months.
What happens if you fail the safety check?
